Chia Pudding Base
- 1 ripe banana mashed
- 3 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 cup almond milk or oat or coconut milk
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Toppings
- sliced bananas for layering
- granola your favorite kind
- crushed vanilla wafers optional, for crunch
Mash one ripe banana in a bowl until smooth.
Add chia seeds, almond milk, maple syrup, and vanilla. Stir well to combine.
Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes, then stir again to prevent clumping.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until thick and creamy.
When ready to serve, layer pudding with sliced bananas and granola. Add crushed wafers if desired.
