Ingredients
  

Chia Pudding Base

  • 1 ripe banana mashed
  • 3 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 cup almond milk or oat or coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Toppings

  • sliced bananas for layering
  • granola your favorite kind
  • crushed vanilla wafers optional, for crunch

Instructions
 

  • Mash one ripe banana in a bowl until smooth.
  • Add chia seeds, almond milk, maple syrup, and vanilla. Stir well to combine.
  • Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes, then stir again to prevent clumping.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until thick and creamy.
  • When ready to serve, layer pudding with sliced bananas and granola. Add crushed wafers if desired.

Notes

  • For best results, always stir your chia pudding twice, once right after mixing and again after 10 minutes.
  • Add banana slices just before serving to prevent browning.
  • Want it heartier? Mix in 2 tbsp rolled oats before refrigerating.
