Ingredients
  

Base Mixture

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 10 oz mini marshmallows
  • 1 box instant banana pudding mix
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal

Topping

  • 1 cup crushed vanilla wafers
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips optional

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat, then add marshmallows. Stir gently until smooth and fully melted.
  • Remove from heat and stir in banana pudding mix and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Fold in the Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated with the pudding-marshmallow mixture.
  • Press gently into a greased 9x13 pan, sprinkle crushed vanilla wafers on top, and let cool for 30 minutes before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • Don't overheat the marshmallows, gentle heat keeps them soft and chewy.
  • Press lightly into the pan; too much pressure makes them dense.
  • You can add melted white chocolate or even layer with whipped banana pudding for a gourmet twist.
