Equipment

  • Baking Dish
  • Mixing Bowl

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked chicken breast shredded or cubed
  • 1 cup sliced ham
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup about 10.5 oz
  • 1 cup sour cream

Topping

  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 4 tbsp butter melted
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  • Layer cooked chicken evenly at the bottom of the dish. Add slices of ham on top of the chicken, then cover with Swiss cheese slices.
  • In a bowl, mix cream of chicken soup and sour cream until smooth. Spread this mixture over the cheese layer evenly.
  • In another bowl, mix bread crumbs with melted butter. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top.
  • Bake uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes until hot and bubbly. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

To avoid dry chicken, don’t overbake. Use thin ham slices for best texture, and don’t skip the sour cream for a creamy result.
