  • 3 cups cooked shredded chicken breast
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • 1 cup cooked bacon bits
  • 3 cups frozen shredded hashbrowns
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese divided
  • 2 tbsp green onions sliced for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch seasoning until smooth and creamy.
  • Add shredded chicken, bacon bits, and hashbrowns. Stir until well combined.
  • Spread mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until hot and bubbly with a golden top.
  • Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before garnishing with green onions and serving.

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken for a shortcut. You can assemble this ahead and refrigerate, then bake when ready. It also freezes well either before or after baking.
