Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 fillets tilapia boneless, skinless
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper freshly ground

To Serve

  • lemon wedges optional
  • fresh herbs optional, like parsley or cilantro

Instructions
 

  • Pat the tilapia fillets dry and place them on a tray.
  • In a small bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Brush both sides of the tilapia fillets with the seasoning mixture.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates.
  • Place the fish on the grill and close the lid. Cook for 3–4 minutes until the edges become opaque.
  • Flip gently and grill for another 3–4 minutes until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  • Remove from grill, let rest for 2 minutes, and serve with lemon wedges or herbs.

Notes

You can use foil if you're new to grilling fish — it helps prevent sticking and breaking. For added flavor, try smoked paprika or a dash of chili flakes.
