  • 12 mini sausages
  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed if frozen
  • 1 egg beaten for egg wash
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese cut into small pieces
  • 1 tbsp fresh herbs chopped rosemary or thyme
  • honey mustard dip for serving

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Cut the puff pastry into rectangles big enough to wrap each mini sausage.
  • Place one mini sausage and a piece of cheddar cheese on each pastry piece, then roll tightly.
  • Place rolled sandwiches on the baking tray, brush with egg wash, and sprinkle with herbs.
  • Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden and puffed. Serve warm with honey mustard dip.

Notes

  • To avoid bursting, don’t overfill the pastry.
  • Keep them warm at 200°F covered with foil.
  • Make-ahead friendly: assemble the night before and bake before serving.
