Ingredients
  

Dip Base

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese freshly grated
  • 1/3 cup pepper jelly red or green
  • jalapeños or hot sauce optional, for extra heat

Optional Toppings

  • chopped pecans for garnish after baking
  • sliced green onions for garnish after baking

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Spread softened cream cheese in an even layer in a small baking dish.
  • Sprinkle freshly grated cheddar cheese evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  • Spoon or swirl pepper jelly over the top. Add jalapeños or hot sauce if using.
  • Bake for 15–20 minutes, until cheese is melted and jelly is bubbling at the edges.
  • Garnish with chopped pecans or green onions if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Let cream cheese come to room temperature before baking for best melting.
  • Freshly grate your cheese for optimal melt.
  • Can be assembled a day ahead and baked just before serving.
