Ingredients
  

Cheese Ball Mix

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese extra sharp recommended
  • 1 head garlic roasted
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp fresh herbs chopped parsley, chives, or rosemary
  • salt and pepper to taste

Coating

  • 1/2 cup crushed pecans or walnuts
  • 1 tbsp fresh herbs optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the top off the garlic head, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 40 minutes. Let cool and squeeze out the cloves.
  • In a stand mixer or with a sturdy spatula, blend softened cream cheese and cheddar until smooth.
  • Fold in the roasted garlic, Worcestershire sauce, herbs, salt, and pepper. Chill for 1 hour.
  • Shape into mini cheese balls or one large cheese ball. Roll in crushed pecans and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
  • Wrap for gifting or refrigerate until serving. Best served with crackers, crostini, or pretzel sticks.

  • Make ahead up to 5 days in advance, or freeze for up to 1 month.
