Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 pieces chicken breast cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Teriyaki Sauce

  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger grated
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Cut chicken into small cubes and season lightly with salt and pepper. Warm a pan over medium heat and drizzle a bit of oil.
  • Add the chicken and cook until golden and tender. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  • In the same pan, toss garlic and ginger for a few seconds. Add soy sauce, brown sugar, and cornstarch mixed with water. Stir until thick and shiny.
  • Return the chicken and add broccoli and bell peppers. Stir and coat everything in the sauce. Let it simmer for 3 to 4 minutes until vegetables are crisp tender.
  • Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and serve warm with steamed rice.

Notes

For best results, do not overcrowd the pan and avoid overcooking the vegetables. The sauce thickens beautifully with the cornstarch slurry—don’t skip it!
